KEVWire

Security intelligence, with context.

About KEVWire

KEVWire is a free, evidence-first reading desk for security news. It answers one question for security teams, CIOs and reporters: what is actually being exploited right now, and how do we know?

Who runs it

KEVWire is built by Blake Janover and published by Blake Elliot, Inc., a Florida company based in Delray Beach. It is independent: no vendor sponsors it, and it has no ads.

How it works

Editorial principles

  1. Primary sources first. Records lead with the official description (NVD, CISA, the vendor). News reports appear as a short quote with a link.
  2. No invented numbers. A missing score stays "not scored", never a guess. EPSS is shown as the model's estimate, never as certainty.
  3. Words mean what they say. "Known exploited" is not relabeled "zero-day". AI involvement is only claimed when a source states it, and is labeled confirmed or reported.
  4. Scope is part of the signal. We say what we don't cover and when a source is unavailable.

Corrections

Spotted a mistake or a missing source? Use Suggest a correction on any record, or email hello@kevwire.com. A person reviews every suggestion. Corrections to records are made at the source data or noted on the record, and we aim to respond within 3 business days.
