Privacy policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

KEVWire (kevwire.com) is run by Blake Elliot, Inc., a Florida corporation, 335 E Linton Blvd, Suite B14 #2074, Delray Beach, FL 33483. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted. Questions: hello@kevwire.com.

The short version

What we collect

When you just browse

Your browser sends standard request information (IP address, browser type, the page requested) to our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which runs the site. Cloudflare uses it to deliver the site and to protect it from attacks. Our application logs record requests, including the address requested, for troubleshooting and are kept for up to 7 days.

Your settings (theme, chosen technologies, hidden sources, items you mark as reviewed) are saved in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us unless you create an account.

We don't set cookies unless you sign in.

Visitor counts. We count page views (by type of page), feed, API and MCP requests, and a few clicks such as "Pick your stack", as daily totals. To count unique visitors per day, we combine your IP address and browser identifier with a random value that changes every day, and keep only a one-way hash of the result. The random value is deleted after two days and the hashes after 30 days, so we can't recognize you from one day to the next. We never store your IP address or browser identifier for this.

If you create an account

If you join the premium waitlist

We store your email address, the technologies and interests you choose (optional), the page you signed up from, the dates, and the same daily-changing anti-spam hash described below. We use them only to tell you when KEVWire Premium launches: one email, sent once we have an email provider (we'll name it in this policy before anything is sent). We keep this until 12 months after launch, or until you ask hello@kevwire.com to remove you, whichever comes first.

If you send a suggestion or correction

We store the message, its category, the record or page it refers to, and the contact details you choose to give (optional). If you're signed in, the message is linked to your account. To limit spam, we store a one-way hash of your IP address combined with the date. It changes every day and can't be used to recognize you across days.

We keep suggestions for as long as they're useful for improving the site, and at most 24 months. Email hello@kevwire.com to have a suggestion deleted.

How we use it

Only to run KEVWire: sign-in, syncing your settings, reading and replying to suggestions, and keeping the service secure. We don't use your information for advertising or profiling, and we don't sell, rent or share it, except:

Where it is stored

On Cloudflare's network (Workers, D1 and KV), which may process data in the United States and other countries.

Your choices and rights

Children

KEVWire is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Security

Accounts use passkeys, so there are no passwords to steal. Sessions are stored as hashes, connections are encrypted (HTTPS with HSTS), and the site uses a strict Content Security Policy. To report a vulnerability in KEVWire itself, see /.well-known/security.txt.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the site before they take effect.
