What happened

The MemberPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in versions up to, and including, 1.14.1. This is due to a bypassable nonce verification check in the save_profile_fields() function that uses an isset() condition at line 1119, allowing the security check to be completely bypassed by simply omitting the nonce parameter from the request.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to change authenticated users' email addresses via a forged request granted they can trick an authenticated user into performing an action such as clicking on a link, leading to account takeover through password reset functionality.

About this data

This record was ingested from a data source. Retrieved: Oct 28, 2026, 09:25 UTC. Ingestion is not an independent editorial investigation.

NVD status: Received. Publication in the NVD is not evidence of exploitation.

A CISA KEV listing documents known exploitation, not necessarily a zero-day; absence from the catalog does not prove a vulnerability has never been exploited.

Technology tags indicate possible relevance, not verified exposure. Confirm the affected product, version, and configuration against your own inventory; KEVWire does not scan your systems.
