What happened

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:

erspan: do not use skb_mac_header() in ndo_start_xmit()

Drivers should not assume skb_mac_header(skb) == skb->data in their ndo_start_xmit().

Use skb_network_offset() and skb_transport_offset() which better describe what is needed in erspan_fb_xmit() and ip6erspan_tunnel_xmit()

NVD status: Analyzed. Publication in the NVD is not evidence of exploitation.

A CISA KEV listing documents known exploitation, not necessarily a zero-day; absence from the catalog does not prove a vulnerability has never been exploited.

Technology tags indicate possible relevance, not verified exposure. Confirm the affected product, version, and configuration against your own inventory; KEVWire does not scan your systems.
