What happened

The WPO365 | MICROSOFT 365 GRAPH MAILER plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'Subject (via wp_mail/PHPMailer, e.g. CF7 your-subject)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 6.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is stored without authentication via any mail-sending feature that forwards a submitter-controlled subject (e.g.

a Contact Form 7 form) when the Graph Mailer is enabled but OAuth authorization has not been completed, a default state immediately after plugin activation.

About this data

This record was ingested from a data source. Retrieved: Oct 31, 2026, 09:30 UTC. Ingestion is not an independent editorial investigation.

NVD status: Received. Publication in the NVD is not evidence of exploitation.

A CISA KEV listing documents known exploitation, not necessarily a zero-day; absence from the catalog does not prove a vulnerability has never been exploited.

Technology tags indicate possible relevance, not verified exposure. Confirm the affected product, version, and configuration against your own inventory; KEVWire does not scan your systems.

A personal reading checklist on this device, not verified remediation.
