What happened

The wpForo Forum plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to time-based SQL Injection via the 'href[locale]' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query.

This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database. The nonce required for exploitation is publicly issued to unauthenticated visitors on any forum page via the wpforo.nonces JavaScript object, meaning no account or prior interaction beyond a page load is required to obtain it.

About this data

This record was ingested from a data source. Retrieved: Nov 7, 2026, 20:21 UTC. Ingestion is not an independent editorial investigation.

NVD status: Deferred. Publication in the NVD is not evidence of exploitation.

A CISA KEV listing documents known exploitation, not necessarily a zero-day; absence from the catalog does not prove a vulnerability has never been exploited.

Technology tags indicate possible relevance, not verified exposure. Confirm the affected product, version, and configuration against your own inventory; KEVWire does not scan your systems.
