Munshi (by Petpooja) before 2026-07-28 contained a broken object level authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated sub-users to delete invoices belonging to the tenant owner by exploiting the DELETE /api/invoice/{invoice_id} and POST /api/invoices/bulk-delete endpoints, which only verify tenant membership without enforcing object-level ownership or permission checks.

What happened

Munshi (by Petpooja) before 2026-07-28 contained a broken object level authorization vulnerability that allows authenticated sub-users to delete invoices belonging to the tenant owner by exploiting the DELETE /api/invoice/{invoice_id} and POST /api/invoices/bulk-delete endpoints, which only verify tenant membership without enforcing object-level ownership or permission checks.

Attackers can invoke single or bulk deletion requests with arbitrary invoice identifiers to delete invoices they do not own, resulting in unauthorized data loss.

About this data

This record was ingested from a data source. Retrieved: Nov 2, 2026, 20:00 UTC. Ingestion is not an independent editorial investigation.

NVD status: Deferred. Publication in the NVD is not evidence of exploitation.

A CISA KEV listing documents known exploitation, not necessarily a zero-day; absence from the catalog does not prove a vulnerability has never been exploited.

Technology tags indicate possible relevance, not verified exposure. Confirm the affected product, version, and configuration against your own inventory; KEVWire does not scan your systems.
