What happened

A flaw was found in KServe. A namespace-scoped user with create/update permissions on InferenceService custom resources can exploit this vulnerability by providing a malicious storageUri. This Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability allows the storage-initializer init container to issue arbitrary outbound HTTP/HTTPS requests from inside the cluster.

This can lead to information disclosure, including credential theft for the node's Identity and Access Management (IAM) role or access to internal cluster services.

About this data

This record was ingested from a data source. Retrieved: Oct 28, 2026, 21:40 UTC. Ingestion is not an independent editorial investigation.

NVD status: Awaiting Analysis. Publication in the NVD is not evidence of exploitation.

A CISA KEV listing documents known exploitation, not necessarily a zero-day; absence from the catalog does not prove a vulnerability has never been exploited.

Technology tags indicate possible relevance, not verified exposure. Confirm the affected product, version, and configuration against your own inventory; KEVWire does not scan your systems.
