What happened

An information disclosure vulnerability in the Forocoches comments editor that allows an attacker to obtain unauthorised user information by inserting an image containing a malicious external URL into a comment.

When a victim views the discussion thread, their browser automatically sends an HTTP/HTTPS request to the server controlled by the attacker, who can then collect information such as the source IP address, the User-Agent header, the date and time of access, and other metadata derived from the request, thereby compromising the user’s privacy.

About this data

This record was ingested from a data source. Retrieved: Oct 30, 2026, 11:36 UTC. Ingestion is not an independent editorial investigation.

NVD status: Received. Publication in the NVD is not evidence of exploitation.

A CISA KEV listing documents known exploitation, not necessarily a zero-day; absence from the catalog does not prove a vulnerability has never been exploited.

Technology tags indicate possible relevance, not verified exposure. Confirm the affected product, version, and configuration against your own inventory; KEVWire does not scan your systems.
